I've experienced many traumas in my life, some I denied, some were denied by those who traumatised me, some I tried running away from but always chased after me.

But the last traumatic event imposed on me by a group of broken narcissists, damaged me in ways I thought I'd never overcome till I did.

I'll fast forward the dark journey, I'll fast forward the new traumas and narcissists I encountered on my healing journey. I don't think I am ready to unfold that into the universe just yet. 

What I want to contribute today is the aha moment, the light that guided me out of that ugly dark tunnel of pain, anxiety and depression.

Choices.

I needed to teach myself that I had choices. Choices in life. Choices that are all mine. 

If you've been through narcissistic abuse I'm sure you can relate. Their manipulative ways makes you feel constantly under control. Watched, judged. Even when you distance yourself from your abuser, you still feel like your choices are not yours but rather depend on someone else's approval.

The moment I freed myself from the idea that my choices are determined on someone else's happiness I was truly healed.

I chose to always eliminate and distance myself from all any any narcissist. Even those who do not realise what they're doing. 

Now no one gets to tell me what to choose.

No one is judging me for what I choose.

Only God watching me succeed.

I ask you all, warriors and narcissistic abuse survivors, please wake up everyday reminding yourself that you too have choices of your own. You can choose what to eat, where to sleep and who to engage with.

You can choose to be happy, to find happiness. You can choose to overcome this darkness. Everything starts with a choice and a decision.

The best revenge is to heal, the best revenge is to succeed beyond the struggles.

And to my abusers, thank you for the fire you lit under my ass, I know you're watching me.
